Good News is that Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif’s Laptop Scheme 2023 is coming soon through Higher Education Commission HEC. Kindly note that Laptop Scheme Advertisement is not yet announced officialy on any platform.
We are just breaking the news that HEC Higher Education Comission has issued a tender notice to purchase 100,000 laptops for the PM laptop scheme 2023.
This is a good sign for youth of Pakistan that HEC Higher Education Comission has started the Laptop scheme by process the issuing the notice to buy 1 lac laptops to distribute among students of universities, and colleges of Pakistan.
The bidders who are in relevant business operations in Pakistan for the last three calendar years. The bidders must be authorized Laptops’ Distributor/Tier-I partner of OEM, or OEM itself. The bidders must be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and must be on Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

Bidding documents, containing detailed terms and conditions, etc. are available at HEC official website and can also be obtained in hard form from Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Deputy Director (IT) clashah@hec.gov.pk, HEC, in the Capital Islamabad from Monday to Friday in working hours 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Bidding documents Price:
When talking about the price of the bidding documents is Rs.10,000/- which can be deposited online in Habib Bank Limited, H-9 Shalimar Branch A/c No. PK38HABB0017427900133401) as per Rule 23(5) of Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
If yo want to download the bidding documents online you can downloaded it from official websites (www.hec.gov.pk and ppra.org.pk) free of cost, however, if you want to participate in the bidding process, interested bidders will be required to purchase a registered copy from the HEC High Education Comission.
Eligibility Criteria for PM Laptop Scheme 2023
The eligibility Criteria for PM Laptop Scheme is not announced yet officially in any advertisement but as per the previous record minimum of 16 years of education will be considered for this to be eligible.
How to Apply for PM Laptop Scheme 2023
The process to apply is online and HEC will handle all online registration for Laptop Scheme. The schedule of PM Laptop Scheme Registration is not announced yet.
List of Universities for PM Laptop Scheme 2023
Hopefully, all the federal Govt universities will be eligible under this laptop scheme. As in the first phase, HEC is purchasing only 100,000 laptops which are hardly enough for only the federal universities.
